New for 2009
A host of exciting new services have been announced from Edinburgh for 2009, including Jet2's routes to Düsseldorf, Venice, Ibiza, Mahon and Olbia. Also new are Bologna and Cagliari, served by Ryanair, and Flyglobespan's service to Dalaman. More than 100 destinations are currently available from Edinburgh.

More than 600 flights a week connect Edinburgh with the five airports serving London. Both Air France and British Airways operate to London City. British Airways and easyJet serve Gatwick, while British Airways and bmi offer services to Heathrow. The Little Mermaid, Tivoli amusement park, the Royal Theatre, the Opera House, the Carlsberg Brewery ... there really is no shortage of sights to see. Turin
Situated in the far north-west of Italy, Turin is famous for many things – Fiat, chocolate, football – not to mention its cultural sights. Although it's an ideal starting point for a ski trip, the city deserves a few days to itself as a tourist destination. Ryanair offers weekly direct flights from Edinburgh.

New York
Delta Air Lines has launched the first non-stop service between Edinburgh and New York JFK. And that doesn't just mean daily direct links to the Big Apple itself – as one of Delta’s key US hubs, JFK is the jumping-off point for a huge number of onward connections.
Unique culture, a fascinating history and a wealth of attractions make Cardiff perfect for a city break. Flybe now operates flights three times a day.
Jet2 is now offering passengers flying to and from Edinburgh a wider range of destinations, with five additional new European services starting from summer 2009. From May next year the airline will fly to the popular Spanish sun spots of Ibiza and Menorca, as well as Italy and the island of Sardinia with routes to Venice and Olbia. A further addition is Dusseldorf, taking Jet2's total number of destinations to and from Edinburgh to 11. The route network also includes Avignon, Chambery, La Rochelle, Murcia, Pisa, Prague and Toulouse.
Fantastic landmarks, historic sights, dozens of museums, a world-famous cathedral and more than 4,000 pubs – there’s always something to see or do in Cologne. Germanwings offer five flights a week to the city on the Rhine.
You can book now for holidays this winter or even next summer. Consider Dalaman in Turkey – it's great for beaches, mud baths and cultural tours, and there are direct flights from Edinburgh with flyglobespan.
Clickair has launched its first Scottish route with daily flights between Edinburgh and Barcelona. The cosmopolitan Spanish city, in the heart of the Catalonia region, has it all – Mediterranean climate, mountains, beaches, and bars and restaurants aplenty.
